How To Provide Us Images
As you are building out your marketing data on your storefront, you may find it helpful to have us bulk upload your eCommerce oriented images onto your storefront.
We are able to upload the following types of images:
- Product Page Images
- Category Page Images
- Item Images
Product Page Images
These images are displayed prominently on the individual product page as well as thumbnails in product and search listings. We also support the upload of multiple images per product page.
Required Filename Pattern
We require that product page images have a filename consisting of the following:
- ExternalId of any item on the product page without leading or trailing spaces
- A " ;1 " immediately after the ExternalId should be added and incremented in an ascending fashion if multiple images are desired on each product page.
Here's an example filename we would accept for product page that contains an item with an externalid of 123 with just a single product page image for a bulk upload:
123.jpg or 123.png
Here's some example filenames for the same item (123) with three separate product page images for a bulk upload:
123;1.jpg 123;2.jpg 123;3;jpg
or
123;1.png 123;2.png 123;3.png
Recommended Image Specifications:
We recommend the following specifications for your product page images are adhered to:
- Sized to at least 800 x 800 pixels
- Saved in JPG or PNG formats
Category Page Images
Category images display only in subcategory listings as a small thumbnail to aid users in navigation.
Required Filename Pattern:
Category images are correlated by matching the filename equal to the name of the category of the storefront. Your category images should have a file name exactly equal to your category page name, matching both spelling, spacing, and case.
Recommended Image Specifications:
We recommend the following specifications for your category page images are adhered to:
- Sized to at least 200 x 200 pixels
- Saved in JPG or PNG formats
Item Images
Item images display only on multiproduct pages as a small thumbnail that can be clicked to show a larger image for an individual item.
Required Filename Pattern:
Item images are correlated by matching the filename equal to the externalid of the item. Your item images should have a file name exactly equal to your item's externalid, matching both spelling, spacing, and case.
Recommended Image Specifications:
We recommend the following specifications for your Item images are adhered to:
- Sized to at least 800 x 800 pixels
- Saved in JPG or PNG formats
